F5 operates on 5 principles and a training methodology built around them. The brand needed to reflect that precision — not the aggression of conventional fitness branding, not the casualness of lifestyle gyms. We built the identity around the concept of hit refresh: a structured, deliberate return to the work. A merged F5 mark built from shared geometry, a neon yellow and black palette that communicates energy without noise, and a typographic system that carries the engineered register of the brand across every surface.

F5 is built on 5 training principles — Focus, Form, Force, Flow, and Finish. Not as values on a wall, but as a structured methodology that governs every session. The brief was to build a brand that reflects that discipline: a training facility that operates with the precision of a system, not the casualness of a gym. The guiding concept became hit refresh — the idea that every session is a deliberate reset. Not motivation. Not inspiration. A structured return to the work.
The F5 logomark merges the letter F and the numeral 5 into a single geometric form. The vertical stem of the F becomes the structural backbone of the 5. The top bar of the F extends to form the upper curve of the 5. One stroke weight throughout. The result is a mark that reads as both letterform and icon — engineered, not assembled.
The construction is precise: the F and 5 share every structural element. No separate forms joined together — a single mark that encodes both. The unified stroke weight reinforces the systematic logic behind the brand.
The palette uses 3 tones: pure black (#000000), electric neon yellow (#D6FB00), and clean white (#F5F5F5). Black provides the structural weight. Neon yellow carries the energy. White gives the system room to breathe.
Space Grotesk handles display — geometric, bold, built for headlines and key messaging. JetBrains Mono handles secondary copy — monospaced, code-influenced, reinforcing the systematic and engineered register of the brand. The combination gives F5 a typographic voice that feels athletic without being generic.
Space Grotesk provides the brand's display authority. JetBrains Mono introduces the technical register — its monospaced construction mirrors the precision of F5's training methodology. Used together, they create a hierarchy that is immediately readable and distinctly F5.
The F5 icon set covers the 6 core elements of the training world: strength, nutrition, resistance, endurance, explosive power, and mechanical precision. Rendered in neon yellow with clean geometric linework, each icon is functional — built to communicate at a glance across signage, digital, and merchandise without losing resolution.
Flexed bicep: strength and muscle. Protein shaker: nutrition and recovery. Dumbbells: resistance and progressive overload. Heartbeat line: cardiovascular endurance. Lightning bolt: explosive energy. Gear: the systematic, engineered approach to every session. 6 icons that together map the full F5 methodology.
Business cards, gym signage, apparel, water bottles, and digital platforms all draw from the same visual logic. The black and neon yellow palette, the F5 mark, and the bold typographic system hold consistently across every format. The brand doesn't change register between a membership card and a wall installation.
Business cards apply the F5 mark on premium black stock with neon yellow details and lightning bolt accents. Gym environments carry the large-scale 'Hit Refresh' messaging across training spaces. Merchandise — water bottles, performance apparel — uses the mark and wordmark consistently. Marketing collateral pairs bold neon typography with the training methodology without tipping into motivational-poster territory.
