LENSES Design Studio needed a brand as precise as the work it produces. We built the identity around focus — the same principle that governs great photography and great design. A monogram mark merging the L with a lens outline, a two-tone palette that removes visual noise, and a typographic system with clear hierarchy. The result is a brand that communicates what LENSES does without over-explaining it.

Proposal
LENSES Design Studio needed a brand identity that reflected how the studio actually works — with precision, clarity, and a specific point of view. The brief wasn't to build something generic for a creative agency. It was to build something that could only belong to LENSES. The guiding concept became focus — the same quality that defines great photography and great design. Every decision in the identity traces back to that single idea: what does it look like when you eliminate everything that doesn't belong?
The LENSES mark merges the letter L with a camera lens outline — a monogram that functions as both a logotype anchor and an icon. The construction is geometric and precise. The two-tone palette, pure black (#0A0A0A) and crisp white (#EDEDED), keeps the mark readable at any scale and eliminates visual noise.
The L provides the structural backbone. The lens outline wraps it — referencing both the studio name and its photographic discipline. The monogram reads clearly at business-card scale and at large-format display size without modification.
The geometric construction uses precise guides to govern the lens proportions. The palette is deliberately minimal — two tones, no accent colour. The mark earns its presence through form, not colour.
DM Sans handles headings — geometric, modern, weighted for display. Roboto handles body copy — neutral, clean, legible at any size. The system creates clear hierarchy without typographic noise.
DM Sans provides visual authority in display contexts. Roboto keeps supporting copy functional and unobtrusive. Together they give the brand a consistent voice across digital and print applications.
Business cards, digital platforms, marketing materials, and service collateral all draw from the same visual logic. The mark, the palette, and the typographic system hold consistently across formats — from textured black card stock with white print to clean digital service interfaces.
Business cards feature the LENSES wordmark on premium textured black stock. Digital applications use the studio's clean typographic treatment with viewfinder corner details — referencing the photographic precision behind every project. Marketing materials pair the lens icon with the studio's service range without over-explaining either.
