Meridian Developments builds spaces designed to last — architecturally considered, functionally adaptable, built above the ordinary. The brand needed to reflect the same standard. We built the identity around structural precision: a logomark that reads as both a wordmark and a skyline, a monochromatic palette with no excess, and a typographic system with clear hierarchy. The brand holds the same standard as the buildings.

Meridian Developments builds spaces designed for how people actually live — adaptable, considered, built to last. The brief was to create a brand identity that communicates the same qualities as the buildings: structural precision, modern clarity, and a sense of permanence. The guiding premise was elevation — not as aspiration, but as a measurable design standard. Every decision in the brand system was held to the same criteria as the developments themselves: does it hold up over time?
The Meridian logomark fuses the letter M with the geometry of modern high-rise construction — layered forms rising into a skyline silhouette. The mark reads as both a wordmark anchor and a structural diagram. Typographic clarity and architectural geometry occupy the same space without competing.
The central M structure is built from rising layered forms that suggest building floors and elevation. The surrounding angular shapes complete the skyline reading. The mark works at scale — from business card to hoarding — without losing its structural logic.
The palette is built on 3 tones: deep charcoal (#171717), pure white (#EDEDED), and mid grey (#D6D6D6). No accent colour. The restraint is intentional — the architecture provides the visual interest, the brand system provides the structure.
Geist Mono handles headings — monospaced, technically precise, weighted for impact. Funnel Sans handles body copy — geometric, clean, high legibility at any size. The combination produces a typographic system that feels structured without feeling cold.
Geist Mono carries the brand's architectural register in display contexts. Funnel Sans keeps supporting copy readable and neutral. Together they create a hierarchy that is legible at a glance and consistent across print and digital.
Business cards, marketing materials, document folders, site signage, digital platforms — the identity applies the same palette, mark, and typographic logic to each format. The brand doesn't shift register between a printed proposal and a development hoarding. That consistency is what makes Meridian feel like an organisation with standards, not just a logo on a building.
Business cards use the Meridian wordmark on deep charcoal stock with white typography and precise geometric layout. Marketing materials feature the Future Estates campaign — architectural photography, structured copy, no decorative elements. Document folders and branded collateral maintain the same typographic weight throughout.
